2016-2017 School Year
Dear Highly Esteemed FBLA Member:
Congratulations! The executive board of our chapter is very proud of your zeal and is therefore pleased to share with you this enthralling experience. You will be among one of nearly 264students involved within FBLA who join this club. We hope that you will enjoy an instructive affiliation with Future Business Leaders of America.
Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda is a nonprofit education association with a quarter million students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. The association has the following four divisions: Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) for high school students; FBLA-Middle Level for junior high, middle, and intermediate school students; Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) for postsecondary students; and Professional Division for businesspeople, FBLA-PBL alumni, educators, and parents who support the goals of the association.
Membership in FBLA helps you learn about business and gives you the opportunity to see the “real world” through interaction with business leaders from across the country! You will discover the secret of being able to talk confidently with prospective employers, and you will experience the chance to test your business skills in state and national competitions.
Membership will not only provide you with a noteworthy mark on your resume, but also career preparation opportunities, leadership development and achievement, outstanding leadership conferences, challenging competitions, community service experience, informative publications, networking with peers and business professionals, scholarships and prizes, and potential internships. Meet and make friends with members of your own school and other schools across the country! Join in the fun and participate in local activities like pizza parties, business tours, and social activities.
If you are not yet a member and would to acquire more information pertaining to Future Business Leaders of America by attending our informational meeting then you are more than welcome. If you have friends you wish to invite, please invite them to come and view as you embark on your FBLA journey through business success. The information meeting for Spring membership will be held in the Cartersville High School Career Tech Center in room 503 in January 2017.
Please join us in room 503 at 3:35 p.m. in January 2014 (date to be announced) to learn more about FBLA. If you have any questions concerning Future Business Leaders of America or the afternoon of the meeting, please feel free to stop by Ms. Boyer’s room (Room 101), or contact Blake Pierson(President) at [email protected] and Lauren Kilgore (Vice President) at [email protected].
